Two people are in custody after a man was shot and killed near the Rutgers campus in New Brunswick.

Police say the shooting happened last Wednesday near Pine Street Park.

An 18-year-old was found dead after being shot multiple times.

Officials say 20-year-old Terrell Ingram was in possession of a gun the night of the shooting and turned himself in on Monday.

Prosecutors say the 17-year-old suspect would be charged with murder if he were not a minor.
