A Piscataway man has been charged with stalking after police say he followed a woman from New Jersey to a hospital in Delaware.

Prince Onukogu, 22, was seen on surveillance video by security officers getting into the back seat of a female patient’s vehicle outside the ChristianaCare Middletown Emergency Department in Delaware.

“Further investigation revealed that Onukogu had allegedly followed the adult female victim, a stranger to him, from New Jersey and recorded her at multiple locations without her knowledge,” Middletown, Del., police said in a statement.

Police say Onukogu concealed himself inside the victim’s vehicle while she was inside the emergency center receiving treatment.

He was placed under arrest and charged with burglary and stalking. Because he was unable to post bail, the suspect was transported to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Delaware.
