Foo Fighters fans ditched waiting online and lined up in person, some camping out overnight, for tickets to a rare pop‑up show in Sayreville.

Ticket sales were scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Starland Ballroom for Saturday night’s show, but fans were already in line well before sunrise.

Tickets were priced at $30 each, with a two‑ticket limit per person.

Mark Monroe of Metuchen was first in line after waiting overnight. “There was people here,” Monroe said. “Cars were scattered. It looked like a zombie apocalypse.”

Drone footage showed the line wrapping around the parking lot as fans waited for one of about 2,500 tickets available.

Katie Dovidauskas of Sayreville said the price made the wait worth it.“ I’ve seen them at Citi Field when Dave Grohl broke his leg,” she said. “Those tickets were like $400.”

Others said the experience itself was part of the appeal.“It feels very old school and I like it,” said Markell Wilson of Newark. “You meet a lot of people. You make friends because you’re in line for six hours.”

Todd, who traveled from Monmouth County, said the band’s live energy keeps fans coming back.“It’s all about the music,” he said. “You’re in for a treat if you get in there. It’s a locomotive of rock and roll energy coming right at you.”
