Police in Trenton said a domestic dispute resulted in a stabbing of 26-year-old Hamilton man early Sunday morning.

They say it happened on Division Street just after 3 a.m.

Officers say a tenant reported that he had received messages on social media from a man who claimed he had been stabbed. He then contacted police.

When officers arrived, they say they found the victim in the bathroom, intoxicated and wounded.

A woman then showed up and said she had stabbed him with a kitchen knife.

Jytaia Johnson was being held pending her first court appearance as of Sunday evening.
