Police: 4 ATVs stolen from Howell Township home; suspect at large

A person accused of stealing four ATVs is still on the loose after a run-in with police in Howell Township.
Officials say the suspect was stopped while riding an ATV around 3 a.m. Friday. While he was stopped, police say he heard over the officer’s radio that dispatch was alerting everyone that four ATVs had been stolen from a home on Stuart Street.
The suspect immediately ran away. Officers tried to track him down using K-9 officers, but he got away.
All of the stolen ATVs were returned to the homeowner.
