Torrential rains flood shopping center parking lot off Route 22
The parking lot of a shopping center off Route 22 in Union Township was flooded with several inches of water, damaging some cars.

Heavy rain on Tuesday afternoon brought some flooding conditions to parts of Union County.
The parking lot of a shopping center off Route 22 in Union Township was flooded with several inches of water, damaging some cars.
The shopping center contains multiple businesses, including a salon, restaurant and LA Fitness.
Michael Torto had just left the gym when he saw the flooded lot.
“I looked at it. I turned around in disbelief a little bit…I took my shoes off and started going,” he says.
Torto says that the inside of his car was flooded from the rain.
