Multiple vehicles were damaged when a fire broke out at a Little Ferry car dealership.

The fire started at the dealership on the 200 block of Route 46 on Friday afternoon. The Little Ferry police chief tells News 12 that at least 10 vehicles were damaged.

The chief says that fire crews were able to get the fire under control.

The eastbound and westbound lanes of Route 46 are closed.

There were no reports of any injuries.

It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
