An injured dog who went missing for over 24 hours was rescued in Sayreville on Sunday.
Drone video from the U.S.A.R drone team, who was part of the search and rescue efforts, showed the moment when the dog, Guinness, was found.
Rescuers say he was hit by a car and ran off. They say thermal drones were used to search over 150 acres to track down the pup.
According to the rescuers, Guinness was found severely dehydrated with a fractured kneecap and cuts.
Guinness was brought home where rescuers say he is now recovering. The owner told News 12 that he will need surgery. A GoFundMe has been created to help raise money for the surgery.
