Dozens in the Teamsters Union protested in Greenwich Monday saying they want more money, among other things.
They showed up at an unrelated budget meeting and said the offers for raises have been insulting.
They say they are working on the front lines during the pandemic and the town should show its appreciation with a new contract and a raise.
Some of the employees work at nursing homes, maintain schools and public buildings, and maintain parks all in the town of Greenwich.
The first selectman put out a statement saying the town is following the prescribed protocol for these kinds of negotiations and that all employees are respected and valued.
