A fight at the Showboat Resort Atlantic City Wednesday night ended in a man being beaten and stabbed and another man arrested.
Police say they responded to the Atlantic City hotel located in the 800 block of the boardwalk where a 25-year-old victim from the Bronx was punched, kicked and stabbed by several people.
The victim was bleeding heavily and was transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, according to authorities. He is expected to be OK.
Police say Marquise Cottman, 20, from Millville was arrested several hours after the incident and charged with aggravated assault for punching and kicking the victim. They say Cottman also had an active warrant for his arrest.
He was released on a summons with a future court date. Police say they are looking for several others who were involved in the incident.
