Students applaud St. Peter's hoops team for its hard work in big upset game

St. Peter's University students are still celebrating the Peacocks big win over Kentucky, saying the team worked hard to get where it's at.
Celebrations erupted Thursday night inside the McMahon Student Center. St. Peter's defied the odds Thursday night by beating basketball powerhouse Kentucky. A 15-seed took down a 2-seed.
Some of the faithful fans say the team was 20-11 during the regular season and did win the MAAC Championship.
"They worked really hard so it's not really far-fetched and I believe in the underdog prevails," says student Karynn Hill.
The Peacocks take on Murray State in round two Saturday night.
