A Newark man was accused of violating a stalking restraint order in Hillsdale, according to the police.

Officials say that Patrick McMeekin sent a series of emails containing information about the victim to multiple people, municipalities and school districts in northern New Jersey.

McMeekin now faces several charges, including violating a stalking restrain order and harassment.
