Hoboken Commuters, rejoice. After a 25-day closure of the PATH Hoboken Station, riders can expect to see some upgrades.
PATH says the near monthlong closure addressed critical repairs.
The first week of the station's closure, they focused on destruction, decluttering and blasting away the old infrastructure.
By week 2, new track and new features were installed, including wider staircases and massive track switch.
During week 3, cosmetic improvements were done, like new concrete surfaces and tiling.
PATH says the construction is part of the agency’s two-year $430 million PATH Forward program.
