A man said he was shot on Sunday by another man who confronted him for leaning on a car in a parking lot in Elizabeth, according to authorities.
Authorities say the shooting happened around 7 a.m. on Spring Street near North Avenue, close to several airport hotels. Authorities say the man was shot in the rib cage after the shooter told him to stop leaning on a parked car.
The man who was shot was highly intoxicated, authorities say, and could not provide any further information. He is in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing. The shooter has not been caught yet.
