The Jersey Shore was spared most of the snow that came to New Jersey on Tuesday, but conditions were anything but nice.
Strong winds and rain made for cold and wet conditions at New Jersey’s beaches, but that did not stop some from braving the weather.
“It’s pretty brutal. Wind is really strong. Gusts of wind and snow feels like hail,” says Luke Springle.
“It’s sparse snow, but strong, really strong,” says Kaylie Latz.
Springle and Latz said that they were inspired to come check out the beach after listening to the Taylor Swift song “Snow on the Beach.”
Officials had been concerned about some beach erosion and coastal flooding due to this storm.
