The Hamilton Police Department is looking for a person involved in four separate bias graffiti incidents in town.
The latest incident happened on Wednesday near 210 Ridge Ave., which is near the entrance of the Ahavath Israel Congregation Cemetery. Police say that someone used red spray paint to write a racial slur in the roadway.
Police say that they believe that the same person is responsible for three other incidents in town over the past two months. The first incident was on June 11 at Saint Mary’s Cemetery at 1200 Cedar Lane.
The second and third incidents happened on Aug. 3 at the Shady Brook Park on Pitman Avenue and on Aug. 6 on Clover Avenue in the cemetery. In both incidents, the same racial slur was written in red spray paint, along with a Swastika.
