14-year-old boy stabbed outside of middle school in Bushwick

A 15-year-old boy was critically injured in a Newark shooting, according to police.

The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Avon and Jelliff avenues.

The teen was taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
