Flooding rains drift away slowly; patchy dense fog rolls in

Flood waters will slowly recede tonight following heavy rain. Dense fog will roll in, so allow extra time to get where you are going on Friday morning.
Friday is warm and humid. Clouds and sun will share our New Jersey skies, with a chance for some widely scattered thunderstorms. Temperatures will flirt with 90 degrees. Overall, even with the chance of showers in the forecast, you won't have to cancel your outdoor plans.
Heat will eventually ramp back up early next week. It's possible we could string together four or maybe five straight days of 90+ degree weather.
TONIGHT: Cloudy skies this evening will become partly cloudy after midnight. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. Lows around 73.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. Highs around 86.
SATURDAY: Sunshine and clouds mixed. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. Highs near 85. Partly cloudy skies in the evening, then becoming cloudy overnight.
SUNDAY: Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. Highs near 84. Partly cloudy skies early Sunday evening, followed by increasing clouds with showers developing later at night. Lows around 73.
