Police say they got a call that five people were assaulted by an unprovoked woman at the Burrito Bar in Prospect Park just before 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say a 63-year-old man was hit in the head with a glass bottle and was taken to the hospital. They also say the woman had a knife.

They say the woman then went on to assault other people in the nearby area – a 52-year-old man was punched while walking with children; a 53 year-old woman and 20-year-old woman were struck in the face; and police say a 36-year-old woman was hit in the head with a cellphone.

The owner of the burrito bar Greg Yerman says he stepped in to get the woman out when she started attacking customers, and she then hit him with the bottle. He said he needed stitches.

"Police were called, the fire department came, the ambulance came. It was just an insane situation. The restaurant floor was scattered with glass. There was chairs all over the place. It was an insane situation," said Yerman.

Police say they arrested 44-year-old Hilda Grullon. She faces a slew of charges that include assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says Grullon was arraigned on Monday, and a judge gave her supervised release. It's unclear when her next court date is.
