The sudden halt has left many travelers scrambling to rebook trips, while others say they have lost time and money.
“I had to pivot real quick and see what other airlines,” said traveler Mark Gerald. “I thought about Frontier from Philly and other airlines, and Allegiant had a flight today, so I just missed two days.”
Airport officials say relief may be on the way. The airport director says Breeze Airways is set to begin flights at Atlantic City International Airport.
