A high school student athlete in Montclair is helping families receive expensive sports equipment for their children for less.
Dhruv Nair plays sports and knows that the cost of youth sports can be pricey. He figured why not help families deal with sticker shock.
Families can donate used gear they no longer need to "Gift Your Gear."

The equipment is then given away to young athletes who could use it.
Dhruv and his team of volunteers have now collected and donated over $20,000 worth of equipment in the last three years.
