$20,000 reward offered in fatal southwest Philadelphia shooting

Responding officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds and transported them to hospital

A NJ man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon, sparking a homicide investigation and a $20,000 reward for information.

The victim, identified as Miguel Angel Quinones-Barreto from Haddonfield, New Jersey was killed on Saturday, in the 5200 block of Chester Avenue. Also leaving a second man wounded.

Investigators are searching for a 2006 Toyota Highlander bearing Pennsylvania license plate MVT-7466.

Police have also released images of two men identified as suspects who were inside the vehicle at the time of the gunfire. While a weapon was recovered at the scene shortly after the incident, no arrests have been made.

The shooting was initially reported as a double shooting on a Southwest Philadelphia highway. Responding officers found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds and transported them to hospital. Quinones-Barreto was pronounced dead at 5:09 p.m., while the second victim was listed in stable condition.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case. Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the suspects or knows the location of the Toyota Highlander to come forward.
