NJ Transit train strikes pedestrian, temporarily disrupting service
Train service between Passaic and Hawthorne was temporarily suspended Wednesday morning after a New Jersey Transit train struck and injured a pedestrian.
A spokesperson for NJ Transit says that the man was taken to the hospital. The extent of his injuries was not immediately clear.
There were no injuries reported to the 250 customers or crew on board, according to the spokesperson.
