Police in Montclair say two people were injured during a Friday night shooting.

Investigators say it happened near Mission Street and Bloomfield Avenue just before 6 p.m.

A 43-year-old West Orange man, and a 32-year-old Montclair man were taken to the hospital.

Police say witnesses saw a silver or gray minivan fleeing the scene northbound on Mission Street before heading east on Bloomfield Avenue.

Police ask anyone with information about the shooting to give them a call.
