Powerful thunderstorms are on their way out of New Jersey. But the Garden State will soon have to contend with rising temperatures.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Justin Godynick says New Jersey has the potential for another heat wave.
WHAT'S NEXT: Temperatures start to rise into the 90s on Wednesday and are expected to stay there over the next few days.
OVERNIGHT: Storms clear out. Partly cloudy and warm. Temperatures dip to the low-70s.  
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-90s. A chance for another storm by Wednesday night. Overnight lows around 72 degrees.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs expected to be in the upper-80s. Overnight lows around 70 degrees.
COMING UP: Friday and Saturday are expected to see mostly sunny skies, with temperatures in the 90s. Sunday expected to be hazy, hot and humid, with a chance for a storm in the evening.
