Man seriously injured in Edgewater Park hit-and-run
Police are searching for a white sedan with a black roof that may be connected to a hit-and-run that seriously injured a pedestrian in Edgewater Park.

Police are searching for a vehicle that struck and seriously injured a man walking on a street in Edgewater Park on Saturday evening.
Officers responded to the area of Bridgeboro Road between Route 130 and Creek Road just before 10 p.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle that then left the area.
“Preliminary investigation determined that a male pedestrian was crossing Bridgeboro Road when he was struck by a light-colored sedan,” Police Chief John B. Harris Jr. said in a statement. “Following the collision, the vehicle continued traveling on Bridgeboro Road in the direction of Route 130 and left the scene.”
Based on surveillance video obtained by investigators, Harris said the suspect vehicle is believed to be a white sedan with a black roof and possible damage to its windshield and front end.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Police are asking for the public’s help identifying the vehicle involved. Anyone who recognizes the car or has surveillance or dashcam video from the area around the time of the crash is asked to contact the detective bureau.
The crash remains under investigation.
