New developments this morning in the active shooter hoax at a New Jersey military base.

A civilian Navy employee is accused of sending a text around 10 a.m. Tuesday claiming there was an active shooter at her job and she was hiding in a closet with co-workers.

Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst says there was never a shooter.

Prosecutors say Malika Brittingham told agents she carried out the hoax because she felt ostracized by coworkers and hoped the threat would help them "trauma bond."
