1h agoTwo people are recovering, including a police officer, after a crash in Newark.
The crash happened Wednesday afternoon near Meeker Avenue and Route 27, close to Weequahic Park.
Police say it started when the officer turned on his lights and sirens, and two vehicles ahead pulled over.
A third car tried to go around and hit the cruiser.
The officer and another driver were taken to the hospital.
