Police probe bomb threat made to Walgreens in South Jersey

The store and other businesses in the area were evacuated as officers and bomb sniffing dogs conducted a search.

A bomb threat led to a Walgreens and several nearby businesses shutting down Thursday in Burlington County, authorities say.
Evesham police say a caller contacted Walgreens and reported that an explosive device was in the store.
Officers were dispatched to the scene on Route 73 at around 11:30 a.m.
The store and other businesses in the area were evacuated as officers and bomb sniffing dogs conducted a search.
No explosives were found. Police say the threat is one of six others that have been made to Walgreens stores in South Jersey.
No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information is urged to call Evesham police.
