Hundreds of people were out enjoying the beautiful weather down the Shore on Friday.
It was a much-needed change from the rain these past few weekends.
“We’re out today because it’s such a beautiful day with a beautiful breeze. My girlfriend and I are going to happy hour over here at the Avenue on this gorgeous day,” said Barbara Nosti, Holmdel.
People at Long Branch enjoyed the sunshine, calm waves and a nice breeze. They could be seen relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying one another’s company.
“It’s been super busy. [There’s] a lot of foot traffic and car traffic,” said Princesa Rivera, of Long Branch. “It’s really nice to have people out here, especially families, because we have kids and having this environment is really nice.”
Several people have been shopping at local stores and eating at restaurants that have otherwise been quiet with the recent rain.
Area hotels and resorts were busy Friday evening with guests during what finally feels like summer.
