A gun accidentally went off inside an indoor trampoline park in South Hackensack.
Police say the incident happened Sunday evening. They say two boys – age 15 and 12, brought a loaded gun into a photo booth. They say the gun went off and struck a steel plate. Police say this likely stopped the bullet from hitting anyone inside the park.
Police say this is the second time the older boy was caught with a gun. Both boys were sent to the juvenile detention center in Teterboro.
Officials say the gun was not recovered.
