Police: Suspect in off-duty NYPD officer attack taken into custody in Virginia

According to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, Taveon Hargrove was taken into custody this morning in Virginia.

Police say one of the men wanted for attacking and robbing an off-duty NYPD officer has been taken into custody.
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch says Taveon Hargrove was arrested in Virginia this morning.
Hargrove will be charged once they get him back to New York.
Police are still searching for a second person in the case who has not been identified.
Police say the men beat the officer, held a knife to his throat and stole his wallet, phone and gun in Westchester Square.
News 12 reported that police arrested Jeffrey Hargrove, the father of Taveon Hargrove. Police say he was using the off-duty officer’s credit cards.
