Hamilton police say a 63-year-old man died after being hit by a car while walking his dog.
Mohamed Ahmed was trying to cross Hamilton Avenue but not in a crosswalk when he was struck.
Ahmed died at the hospital.
Police say the driver of the minivan that Ahmed had a green light. That person was also not charged.
The dog was not injured.
