An investigation is underway into two robberies that occurred Friday night in New Rochelle.
Police say the first incident took place on Lockwood Avenue at around 9:39 p.m.
The victim was in his driveway working on his vehicle when a male suspect approached from behind and struck him.
He then took several personal items including a gold chain, a phone and credit cards.
A store on Union Avenue was robbed 30 minutes later, according to authorities.
Police say the suspect took the phone of a store clerk who attempted to call police and threatened him.
The man proceeded to flee the scene after the clerk gave him $150 in cash.
