Despite Party City announcing this week it would close all its stores, the party is not over for the South Plainfield location.
Owner Upen Shah tells News 12 that his store located on Hadley Road will remain open and fully operational.
The South Plainfield store is independently owned and operated as franchise, so they are not impacted by corporate restructuring, according to Shah.
Shah says he and his staff remain committed to serving customers.
