A person was hospitalized with burns to the hands and arms after a house fire in Bergen County.
The multiple-alarm fire broke out Tuesday at a home on 17th Street in Norwood, officials said. Video from the scene showed plumes of smoke pouring into the sky.
Crews from New Jersey and nearby Rockland County, New York, spent hours getting the fire under control, and nearby streets were shut down during the response, officials said.
Two firefighters were also checked out for injuries.
