Thousands of travelers moved throughout Newark Liberty International Airport Sunday during the post-Thanksgiving rush.
AAA and several airlines projected that Sunday would be one of the biggest travel days. This Thanksgiving holiday was expected to be one of the busiest travel seasons since the pandemic.
Officials say more than 55.4 million Americans are expected to travel 50 miles or more from home.
News 12's Ali Reid spoke with flyers at the airport about their travel experience.
