PATH will provide free shuttle buses for commuters between Harrison and Journal Square and between Newark-Penn Station and Journal Square during these service outages.

Their plan during this period is to install and test four switches that will provide quicker and more seamless train movements from one track to another.

This will be the first of six weekends this fall that the service will be suspended, as they will continue repairs throughout the season.
