All right, we made it to Friday. Time for Main Street, Connecticut, a chance to showcase our local towns and cities and the things they have to offer. Today we are celebrating Disney on Ice this weekend in Bridgeport. News 2 Connecticut's Mark Sudall is at the Total Mortgage Arena with more for us. Mark, what you're sitting down? Yeah, sitting this one out, Becky. Yeah, I'm in Christoph's sleigh. This is pretty cool. Look at this thing. Is this neat? So Christoph uses a sleigh in frozen to go looking for Elsa, and I think I saw. All off around here somewhere but I don't know where Olof went to. She is part of the show. Thank you so much for joining us. Thank you for having me. What is the part of the show part of the show that you do? I portrayed the role of Tia Peppa in Encanto or act two of the show. So why do you do this? Well, I started skating at 5 and then I went on to do more of dancing and musical theater, so this is a perfect combination of both acting, playing a character, and being on skates. So what's the reaction like from the kids? Oh, it's so lovely to see. You see their joy. They scream. Sometimes it's a bit scary, but I always enjoy the evening, the finale with the fireworks. So you, you obviously skate around. You have characters here, and we understand you have a special guest with you as well. We do. Our very old friend Donald Duck. What? Yeah, what? Hey, what's going on? How are you? Uh, the things that Donald could say, oh, only he could speak. So Donald's here. Who else do you have? Well, we might see some of Anna and Elsa later. Yes, we'll see the family madrigal. Even Bruno is going to be there. OK, maybe even Mickey. Mickey. I hope he arrives. Donald's of course trying to steal the show. I think you got Mickey, you got Goofy, maybe Minnie too, but Donald, all right, OK, we'll give you some love. Becky, coming up in our next hour, I think we're going to have like a Maypole here and some cool lights and stuff like that going to be cool. Come on back. All right, that'll be fun.

Natalie Catalano has skated here all the way from Youngstown, Ohio, and boy is she tired. I'm just kidding. Thank you so much for joining us this morning. What is it like to be part of this show? It's really great to be a part of this show. We get to perform for all the families out in the audience, and they really love seeing all their favorite characters on the ice, so it's really a great time. How excited do these kids get? They get really excited, especially because we can bring them up on. Stage and they can dance with us. No way. That's cool. I didn't know that. So what is going on here? You're going to show us like a little trick here? Yeah, so I portray the role of Louisa from Encanto. She's the strong girl and she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. So this represents that in the show. All right, let's see what you got. Please don't try this at home, folks. This is dangerous. She's a trained professional. What, what Very cool That is fantastic. Thank you. How long did it take to perfect that? I mean, it gets better every day. And that's just one element of the show. So, um, I mean, you have the characters, obviously too, so I mean how long typically does a show run? Uh, this show is lasting about 9 months on this tour. Wow, yeah, so a while. And then how about, uh, when folks are in here, how long does this show last? About 1 hour? Yeah, it's about 1 hour and 40 minutes, including the 20 minute intermission. And so you got in terms of characters, you got who Mickey, right? Yeah, we have Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. Oh wow, that's Kenny, a photographer, that's right up your alley there Goofy. All right, good. Uh, we're looking forward to, uh, to the show this week. I'm sure a lot of the kids are too. And coming up, Becky, in our next hour, we're getting into the sleigh. I can't wait.
