Officials: Runnemede man killed girlfriend, hid body in refrigerator in forest

A man from Runnemede has been charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend, whose body was discovered in a refrigerator in Belleplain State Forest, according to officials.
The victim, identified as 50-year-old Laura Hughes, was found dead inside the refrigerator on Dec. 22.

Her boyfriend, 45-year-old Christopher Blevins, was arrested in San Diego last month.
Blevins is awaiting extradition back to New Jersey.
