Congratulations are in order for the seventh graders at Unity Charter School in Morristown.
Panasonic has a global competition that is part of their “Kids Witness News” program. The students at Unity Charter created a PSA about the so-called “pink tax.” This is when retailers mark up the price of feminine products.
The kids researched, wrote, videotaped and edited the whole thing, earning them the “Best In America Kudos.”
Their PSA will now be presented at Panasonic's global forum next month as America's Best Kids Project.
