Jersey Proud: Annual ‘Turnover Sale’ raises money for charities near Maplewood

The annual “Turnover Sale” has been an annual summer tradition in Maplewood for nearly a century.
The Morrow Methodist Church has been the hub of the multiweek event since 1933. Donated items are put on sale – everything from dishes to clothes to antiques to toys.
The money raised goes to different charities in the immediate area. Last year, they raised $83,000.
There are two more opportunities to go browsing this week: Tuesday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and then Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
