A student at Dwight Englewood High School donated 450 pairs of socks to people in need.
When high school junior Grace Pope joined the Climate Leaders Fellowship project, she had to come up with an idea to meet the community’s needs.
Socks are one of the most needed items for the homeless population, especially during the winter.
Pope and another teen garnered 450 pairs during their time fundraising and gave the pairs to the Bowery Mission in New York.
