The Nutley High School football team is winning fans off the field this week.
For them, it's been more than football that has gained them praise.
After practice, they've been in and around town helping neighbors clean up flood damage.
The kids have helped residents move their belongings around and throw them out if they are damaged.
The Third River flooded Yanticaw Park and surrounding neighborhoods in Nutley last week during Ida.
Nutley High School has got a game at Belleville Friday night.
