When one thinks of martial arts, one might think of high-flying kicks and intense matches as seen in the movies. But for Peter Trikalis, it's so much more than that.
Master Peter is a fourth-degree black belt who owns a martial arts school in Middlesex County where he trains hundreds of students.
After a black belt testing, other martial art school owners showed up with a big surprise -- a seventh-degree black belt.
Employees at Master Peter's school say he had the skills to rank up from his fourth-degree belt, but never wanted to, saying it's not about the rank of the belt, but the person's character who wears it.
He's now known as Grand Master Peter, but he's planning on teaching the same as he always has -- with humility.
