A teenager in Hunterdon County has made the process of retiring old and worn American flags a little bit easier.
As part of his Eagle Scout project, Boy Scout Owen Maslanka, of Lebanon, built a flag retirement bin in Lebanon Borough last fall.
The bin is located right on Main street by the Reformed Church.
Residents drop their flags inside before others take it from there.
Maslanka was honored with the rank of Eagle Scout for his ingenuity.
