The Freehold community came together to repair a memorial for two slain boys after it was vandalized.
Kevin Clawson and Graeme Preston were fatally hit by a car 15 years ago.
A memorial bench and garden was built in their honor at Wynnfield Park.
Recently, the memorial was vandalized and destroyed.
Trish Cannella, Clawson’s sister, put the word out to get help from local families to clean and repair the memorial.
Cannella says her family is going to make this a monthly event to go out to the area and clean up.
