An all-state running back from Rumson Fair Haven High School will be joining Team USA at the Winter Olympics next week.

Fair Haven's Charlie Volker is going to China for the U.S. bobsled team.

He rides in the back and is in charge of creating the big push at the start and in charge of the brakes at the end. 

After high school, he became one of the best running backs in Princeton's history.

COVID-19 cut short his NFL hopes - but he decided to try out bobsledding because he has speed and power from being a running back.
