It is called a “Workout to Remember.” Members of the U.S. Coast Guard do it annually around this time of the year. They were doing it at the Air Station in Atlantic City this week.
The Coast Guard had a helicopter go down 12 years ago in Alabama. Four crewmen died. Every year near the anniversary, Coast Guard members do a workout to honor them.
They run 400 meters, do 65 air squats and 35 burpee pullups. They repeat it four times for the four people lost - honoring their own and doing Jersey proud.
