Hunger does not take a vacation, and people in Elizabeth are making sure everyone has something to eat.

Thursday was the opening day of Assembly Member Annette Quijano’s 11th annual sandwich drive.

Organized with St. Joseph Social Service Center and the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, the event highlights the critical issue of food insecurity in New Jersey.
